Yes, you read the title correct, and here is the explanation and some character illustrations as a teaser.
So, Wujigege had been planning to adapt original novels into comics, and he offered me the chance to get my work adapted as a comic (yup, comic, not manga, just to remind you that there are differences in them~)
His site that will be used to host the comic will be wujigege.com, and there’s even a similar post introducing this adaptation in his site.

I personally think that although the illustrations aren’t quite like what I imagined or may have described in the novel, they are still good and look cute ?

This is too heavy for me to state my opinion uuuu…
I think these don’t do them justice. Judging from the names of the people and context, it’s pretty much a no-brainer that the novel is set on a fantasy euro medieval country; yet I don’t know where the tribal patterns idea came from. It makes them look like some upper class family from a Southeast Asian monarchy instead.
I dunno why Lyra and Alt got purple hair instead of navy blue.
Lyra and Cyan’s eye colors are inverted as well. I know that the current members of the Hartmann family all have different sets of eye colors so sometimes it’s hard to keep track of each one, but c’mon. The current cover for the novel shows which of Lyra’s eyes is which.
It would do well for the artist to reread the source material and revise these designs.
Not much I can say, but… characters is kind of different than what I imagine (well, my imagine is also not good)
I guess I will wait until first chapter come out to say more
Honestly I’m not a big fan of the art style.
